Adding And Deactivating Users

Adding Users:

  1. Go to Users -> Add New User
  2. Enter the user details, password, and select a role.
  3. Roles affect what access the user has on the site
    • Administrator: Has full access to all site functionality.
    • Shop manager: Has access to edit page content, products, and orders.
    • Customer: Can shop and view the frontend of the site.

Deactivating Users:

  1. Go to Users -> All Users
  2. Search for the user to deactivate, or use the filters at the top of the screen to find them by role.
  3. Click on the user, and scroll down to Role
  4. Change their role to –No role for this site–
