Processing Orders

  1. Go to WooCommmerce -> Orders and find the order to process, or click the link in the New Order email you received
  2. Review Order Details:
    • Ensure billing / shipping addresses are present and make sense.
    • Ensure email address if present looks legitimate
    • Make sure order is in Processing status and that “Order Notes” include a line that payment has been confirmed.
  3. Review Items:
    • Review items in order and note quantities ordered
    • If desired you can print or export a PDF packing list from this screen
  4. Prepare order to ship
  5. If desired you can create / purchase a shipping label from this screen by clicking “Create shipping labels.”
  6. Once you have a tracking number make sure to click the Add Tracking Info button and place the number.
  7. Then change the Order Status to Shipped and click Update

NOTE: You can customize what boxes appear on this screen by going to Screen Options in the top-right corner.

Adding a payment method for purchasing a shipping label: Go to WordPress.com and login with the wordpress@knivesnow.com account, then add a payment method to this account.
